Our Moment in History: COVID-19 in the year 2020, will definitely be written in the history books for future generations to look back on, just as we now look back on Yellow Fever, the 1918 Pandemic, Polio and other epidemics and pandemics. How we react and adapt at this time is important, and we will all be judged by future generations for our actions and compassion.
Our community and supporters have been very much on our minds. We hope that you and your family, as well as your friends, are all safe and healthy. We are humbled by the generosity that we have seen. On-going support from our Friends and partners will allow Old World Foundation to continue to fund critical projects and programs at Old World Wisconsin. For this, we'd like to say "Thank You"! While people are anxious to return to "normal", Old World Wisconsin is working hard to determine how they can open this year and provide a meaningful experience for guests, while also providing a safe environment.
With your support, we can continue to overcome the obstacles we face in preserving the past. Historic attractions such as Old World Wisconsin will remain important places to bring people together again in the future, and also places to help record this specific moment in time.
Preserving the Past and Bringing History to Life: Old World Foundation and Old World Wisconsin were featured in the April issue of "Accelerate", a publication from the Waukesha County Business Alliance. Read "Preserving the Past..." article.
